The Splendor Falls

The Splendor Falls - Rosemary Clement-Moore This was the first (and only-so far) book by Rosemary Clement-Moore that I have ever read. I loved this book. As a ballet dancer myself, I can really relate to Sylvie. The plot moved fast, lots of twists and turns and the history of the area was interesting. The characters were all believable and felt real.

The only thing I didn't like was Addie (who was really annoying and didn't seem to serve much purpose in the story) and Sylvie's mother (who came across as kind of selfish and self-absorbed).

But I still loved it and recommend it. It also has some sentimental value to me, as this is the first YA novel I ever read.
