I have read A Wrinkle In Time and absolutely loved it. This one.... Not so much. It was interesting, but just too weird. I'm just not the kind of person to read science fiction, so that's why it was so weird to me. Wrinkle In Time was science fiction too, but this was... just too much for me. But if you like science fiction, I guess you'll like A Wind In the Door. The next book is a Swiftly Tilting Planet. I read that one too and that was a little better (see my review for that book for more details).
