Another Nancy Drew mystery. When Nancy, Bess and George go to stay at Bess and George's aunt and uncle's ranch house in Arizona, Strange things are happening. A "phantom" horse has been seen on the property and each time it appears, disaster strikes. Then, Nancy learns of the Legend of a Dirk Valentine, a famous outlaw who, rumor has it, hid his treasure on Shadow Ranch. I liked this book- not as much as I enjoyed The Mystery of Lilac Inn, but it was still good. This was a very interesting mystery. It was a bit of an easy read for me, but I still enjoyed it. I recommend this to fans of Nancy Drew and to fans of mystery novels.
