Gone, Gone, Gone - Hannah Moskowitz

I honestly don't know how I feel about this book. This is a hard book to review and rate because I don't feel anything about this book. I feel numb. I have no feelings attached to it. It's not a bad book, per se, but I really was hoping I'd feel more strongly about this book.

This is kind of a sad book. It takes place a year after the September 11th tragedy, so obviously it is going to be sad. If you're looking for a happy romance, this isn't for you. It ends with the slightest sense of hope, and our two lovebirds end up together, but for the majority of the book it is very sad, and dark and gloomy. But, as I said, it ends on a good, hopeful note and I liked that.

I really liked Craig. He's endearing and a complex individual and (even though it annoyed me at first), I thought his attachment to his pets (14 of them!) was kind of cute. I'm just glad he took care of them. I liked the romance with Lio, but I'm not sure I like Lio himself.

Just to clarify: In my opinion, this is not a bad book. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't love it either. I don't really feel anything at all.
Three stars. Recommended, but not strongly recommended.
